The pros and cons of throwing rice in your wedding

Pros:
1. It's tradition. Rice symbolizes fertility and prosperity.
2. Everyone can participate in it.
Cons:
1. Pigeons might pick on the rice in your hair.
2. It's a mess to clean up.
3. When thrown over a hard surface, one can easily slip on the rice and get injured.
4. There's a rice shortage in other parts of the world. Think about that.
As to rice making pigeons explode? Not true. It's an urban legend.
Are you going to throw rice during the wedding? Or did you do this when you got wed?
