Seeing Green

Green is such a refreshing color. Here are some ideas for a green-themed wedding celebration:



- Situate the ceremony, the reception in the green outdoors -- a meadow, the top of a hill, a garden. Think of having all-white decorations, with fresh spring flowers and the natural green of the surroundings being both the accent and the backdrop.

- How about serving green candy to kids and grown-ups while waiting for the reception program to begin? Think sour gum drops, green M&Ms, sour apple ribbons... good green sweet fun!

- Green apples and limes give off a fruity, livening scent as well as are cool on the eyes. Use them as accents on the gift table, on your dining tables.

- Going green! Ensure that everything you use -- from the plates to the decor to even the gown you wear -- is good for the environment. See how eco green you can go!

Green is lovely, but make sure you don't go overboard! We don't want it to look like Shrek threw up in your wedding right?
