Making an entrance at your wedding
July 24th 2009 02:53
The usual processional goes: Entourage walks slowly from entrance to altar. Flower girls go first, slowly throwing petals onto the aisle while the guests ooh and aah. They're followed by ring and coin bearers in their cute little boy tuxedos. Then the bridesmaids and ushers come, walking in a pattern that goes step forward, feet together, step forward, feet together. Quite choreographed. Then the rest of the entourage follows with the bride walking slowly in the end, her father and mother on each side.
The usual processional music: Canon in D. Here Comes the Bride. Some slow, sentimental, romantic melody.
This video you're about to see is nothing like the usual processional.
Awesome Wedding Entrance Dance
I think it's quite memorable! I'm not sure a lot of traditional churches would allow this, but if your chosen wedding venue allows you the flexibility to make your wedding processional very much your own, I say... why not?

I didn't think a wedding was the time to be making entrances.
My future wife will no doubt make a stunning one. Jesus, she's always had me entranced.
