Gained weight after your wedding?

"Post-wedding weight gain is common for newlyweds." Read more about it here.

From my experience, darn, it was true. It was a combination of being super comfortable with each other AND enjoying keeping home together. Perhaps you feel less pressured to look fit or thin with someone who's accepted you 100%. And so you both feast together and the pounds come your way. And then there's getting to relax more together, which naturally, leads to eating together. A LOT. Whether it's a fancy night on the town or Chinese take-out, the pounds will slowly come your way too.
I think it lasted for a year with both my husband and myself. And then we decided to hit the gym. It's another good reason to work out together anyway. The couples that gains weight together, should work out together and be healthy together after all!
