At a Wedding, Size Matters
October 29th 2009 06:40
When you're putting your guest list together for the first time, there's a huge chance you'll get a headache.
"We're inviting THIS many people?!?"
"Your Mother wants to invite THIS many people?!"
Then you start trimming off the guest list.
"I haven't seen Uncle Larry since... hold on, I've never even met Uncle Larry. Why should we invite him?"
"Do I really have to invite my boss?"
When you build your guest list, remember that its size will ultimately dictate how much you'll be spending for the wedding. As your head count increases, so does the costs for food, souvenirs, reception area size, ceremony location size, etc.
Ultimately, what matters is that the people you love and those who love you are present during one of the happiest days of your life. So do choose your guests wisely because in weddings, size does matter.

I guess those who are coming really do care about us - that's one thing I can be sure coz I can't imagine anyone spending $2k to go somewhere just to get free food!
